Arbor & Urban Forestry Associate

Ben brings an expansive skill set to Landmark that includes practical urban forestry management, including tree inventory, tree health & risk assessments, tree preservation and compensation plans and invasive species identification & control.

Implementing state of the art industry-standard tools used for data collection, Ben’s assessment and technical skills enable thorough on-site visits and accurate data recording. At Landmark he is responsible for the preparation of arbor reports and plans for development approvals such as severances, site plans and consents for municipal approvals.
With his knowledge of Ontario Forestry Act 1990, the Endangered Species Act 2007, the Migratory Birds Convention Act 1994, the Crown Forest Sustainability Act 1994, the Municipal Act 2001, Environmental Assessment Act & the Planning Act 1990, he is able to accurately prepare documents and reports pertinent to our clients’ requirements.

His background as an Arborist Apprentice and Urban Forestry Technician provides ample experience to provide our clients with the most up to date and comprehensive Urban Forestry requirements for developments and land use management.
